We’re simplifying the Order Approval for WooCommerce plugin to make it easier to install, manage, and maintain.

Previously, integrations like Order Approval for WCFM and Dokan Order Approval were available as separate add-on plugins. To improve stability and reduce plugin conflicts, these add-ons are now merged directly into the main Order Approval for WooCommerce plugin.

Going forward, you only need:

• Order Approval for WooCommerce (Free 2.2.0)
• Order Approval for WooCommerce Pro (2.3.0)

All other add-ons will be gradually removed, since their features are now included in the main plugin.

What this means for you

All integrations will now be available inside the main plugin settings.You no longer need to install or manage separate add-on plugins.The plugin becomes lighter, easier to maintain, and simpler to configure.

Don’t worry — no features are being removed.Features available in the free version remain free.Pro features remain available in the Pro version.

How to upgrade to the new version

1. Deactivate Existing Add-ons
   • Before updating, please deactivate any add-on plugins, such as:
     • Order Approval for WCFM
     • Order Approval for Dokan
2. Update the Main Plugin
   • Update or activate Order Approval for WooCommerce. Once updated, the features previously available through add-ons will already be included.
3. Enable Multivendor Support (If Needed)
   • If you are using a multivendor marketplace plugin like:
     • Dokan
     • WCFM Marketplace

You can enable support directly from the plugin settings. Go to:

Order Approval → Settings → Multivendor Support

Then select your marketplace plugin and save changes.(See the setting below)

Just select Dokan or WCFM and click Save Changes.

⚠️ Make sure the old add-on plugins remain deactivated.

Multivendor support requirements

• If You Use Dokan
  • Install and activate the Dokan plugin.
  • Then go to Order Approval → Settings → Multivendor Support and select Dokan.
• If You Use WCFM
  • You must install both plugins:
    • WCFM – WooCommerce Frontend Manager
    • WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace
  • After installing them:
    • Go to Order Approval → Settings
    • Select WCFM in Multivendor Support
• Save changes

If the required plugins are not installed, configuration conflicts may occur.

Important reminder

After updating to the merged version:

Do not activate the old add-on plugins. All functionality is now included inside the main plugin. Using the old add-ons together with the updated plugin may cause conflicts.

Free vs Pro features

Nothing changes regarding feature availability:

• Free version: Keeps all existing free features.
• Pro version: Continues to provide advanced approval workflows and premium functionality.
